Compliance Specialist (SCS) designation which is earned by passing the
Site Compliance Exam. Comprised of 5 sections, this course walks you
through the 5 key areas all site staff must understand about Housing
Credit site compliance which are also the 5 Testable Areas of the Site Compliance Exam. These key areas are (1) Eligibility; (2)
Verifications & Documentation; (3) Income Eligibility &
Calculations; (4) Special Program Rules; and (5) Fair Housing. So, whether
you are focusing on learning the requirements to do your job or
concentrating on earning your Site
Compliance Specialist (SCS) designation so you may show the industry
that you have mastered the site compliance rules… this course is for
you! A must for site managers, leasing agents, compliance specialists and
their supervisors plus anyone responsible for approving or auditing
compliance paperwork. Regular

Compliance Exam:
When you
complete the course, you will be ready to tackle even the toughest site
compliance scenarios and will be fully prepared to earn your Site
Compliance Specialist (SCS) designation which is earned by passing the
Site Compliance Exam. Cost
of course will include your Exam
which can be taken online at the Housing
Credit Online Exam Room. Attendees will be registered for the Exam on
the second day of the course and will have access to it for 14 days. As
the Exam is a timed exam, once you begin the Exam, you will have 2½ hours
to complete it. Average time to complete the Exam is 1 to 1½ hours so you
have plenty of time to complete it, however, we do recommend you schedule
uninterruptible time to complete it. Once you complete the Exam, you will
immediately get your results and if you pass, you will be able to print
out your Site Compliance Specialist (SCS) designation certificate. You may
then order – FREE OF CHARGE – your official designation pin and
certificate using the provided order form. You are not required to take
the Exam if you do not want to. Exam access will expire with in 14 days.

designation designed for those who work closely with applicants and
residents, approve new move-ins and recertifications, and make crucial
decisions regarding unit transfers, increases to income, and vacancies.

For
the last couple of years, I have moved the majority of my training business
to the internet which means I am doing less and less public workshops and
public appearances. The reasons for this are quite simple. First, on a
personal level, I needed an avenue to provide training to you that involved
less travel and time from my family. As many of you know, I have 2 boys –
James and George – who are growing up fast and, like most kids their age,
are becoming more and more involved with outside activities. I do not want
